Everything that you were doing before the pandemic began may have been terrific. Each strategy made then may have been perfect for the situation too. But just as you thought this was all under control, the massive protests and the threat of a second wave sends us all back to square one.
Clearly, the world is changing drastically right now. And with it, people’s mindsets are shifting too. Many things that were important aren’t anymore, and many things have become priorities that weren’t before. And because of this, the same tactics that worked before in business are likely to be moot now.
To keep afloat and thrive during these changing times, you need to shift your focus. Or in other words, YOU NEED A PIVOT. I’m sure you’ve heard this word perhaps a dozen times or more but do we really understand what this means in business?
Personally, I have lots of experience in developing successful businesses despite tough situations. Such experiences helped me understand when market conditions change and what are needed to shift the direction of a business to address these new circumstances.
Pivoting in business is essential if you want to keep up in current times. In this video, I explain what pivoting is and why you need to do it. I’ve also discussed what you can be doing now to successfully pivot your business.
How does that change your plans, your strategies, your activities and your ability to still create or manage a successful business? What will you do that is not like the past? How WILL you pivot?
I want to help you understand that it will be somewhat different for each of you and that your plans will reflect your unique and individual viewpoints and needs. But knowing how to go about it and recognize what your actions should be and how to make those changes is critical.
The approach will certainly be different for each one as it depends on your own business goals. However, knowing how to plan and execute such changes will be critical for the success of the business.
I hope this video will get you moving in the right direction so that, as you pivot, you are making the choices that will get you to where you want to be. Because one thing is for sure… Waiting is not a strategy. If you think this video is helpful, please ‘Like’ and share it within your network. Thanks in advance.
