In the current age, video social media websites are becoming some of the most influential platforms for any aspiring business owners. It’s no secret that more and more businesses are hopping on the Youtube trend and all for a good reason.

In this video, I talk with Ramon, my videographer and director, about what it takes to grow your channel on Youtube and why it’s so important in the first place. We offer some suggestions that will help you maximize your message to your audience. While good production values and coherent script make a huge difference, what’s most important is to focus on finding your niche. What is it that is unique about you? Embrace that.

Ramon and I also discussed the ‘sameness’ of so much content on YouTube. You shouldn’t want to copy someone else’s YouTube presence in either through looks, thoughts or words. Finding your own way to be compelling is what will set you apart!

Following the crowd isn’t likely to make your channel grow; you’ve got to have something unique. As Ramon says, “it can be slightly horrifying” to ‘be you’ but it is so much better than a repetition of what others are doing.

I hope this video will help you understand how to use your uniqueness to gain a foothold in the social media platform. YouTube can be a powerful tool to grow your business right now as we’re unable to connect and network in person. And if done wisely, you will for sure get the most impact possible.
