A loss stripped away everything untrue — and made space for something deeper, realer, and more aligned than ever before
On the night of January 7th, I tried to figure out via short social media clips that Palisades residents posted if my office and podcast studio burned to the ground.
On the top floor of that office building was the container for my life’s work. A space where ideas turned into impact, where clients were served, stories were shared, tears were shed, victories celebrated and legacies were shaped.
It all burned to the ground.
What’s left in my office
By the morning of January 8th, at 5 AM our home followed.
And our cars.
Everything we owned — gone. While we were on our honeymoon in Costa Rica.
When we got back a few days later I remember standing in the ashes, wearing the first donations of clothing that we had received the night before, the smell of smoke clinging to our community. I felt a deafening silence. Not a sound from a bird, no people, no cars, no neighbors walking their dogs. Nothing.
Seeing it for the first time – in clothes that were gifted
There’s a before and after moment that happens when life breaks you open like that — not just physically, but spiritually, emotionally, and energetically. This was a marker.
And yet, in the middle of that wreckage, something beautiful began to rise.
The Plan Was February. But the Universe Had a Rewrite in Mind.
Originally, the launch of Turn Your Talent Into a Business was scheduled for February. The content was done. The structure was mapped out. The plan was clear. A New Years trip where we eloped with a honeymoon thereafter. Then back to business and start the year strong.
But then everything changed — and so did I.
Because when you lose everything, you start to see what was never really yours to begin with. It’s an odd feeling.
You see your own illusions. The over-efforting. The belief that you have to push, hustle, or convince people into transformation. Make sales calls, persuade and have your pain points and benefits all mapped out. Well, that went out the door pretty quickly.
When you’ve got nothing left to hold onto, you start holding onto what actually matters:
- Your truth.
- Your vision.
- Your values.
- Your energy.
On the Receiving End of Generosity
For the first time in my life, I became the one receiving help. This was too big even for me. And I am not a stranger to disasters. But this is my entire life burned to the ground. Everything I worked for, I had, what was given to me, what I value, what I wanted to pass on. Gone.
And something miraculous happened. People showed up for us.
Meals. Donations. Support. Silent prayers whispered by people I’d never even met.
I’ve built a career on helping others — but this was a humbling reversal I didn’t know I needed. And it cracked something open in me.
It taught me that transformation doesn’t happen through perfectly built funnels or masterful persuasion. It happens through resonance. When others believe in you and your message they will show up.
We don’t need to manipulate people into action. We need to become the clearest, truest version of ourselves — and let that energy speak louder than any sales pitch ever could.
Being the Growth Architect I was thinking about how to formulate this into something I can teach. Because it is so much better than chasing.
Resonance Over Persuasion
We are not here to “convince.” We’re here to connect.
Real growth happens when your inner vision becomes strong enough, steady enough, and true enough to create resonance — an energetic match between who you are and who’s meant to walk this path with you.
The clearer your signal, the stronger your magnet.
It’s not about being louder.
It’s about showcasing the real you.
And this is what I now know for sure:
Spirituality — the inner drive, the soul fire, the emerging vision — must be fused with frictionless strategic execution.
Because dreams without structure stay dreams.
And strategy without a soul burns you out.
You need both. And that’s exactly what Turn Your Talent Into a Business delivers.
Two Questions to Ask Yourself Right Now
If you’re here, reading this — you’re already part of the resonance. You may already have felt the shift. You may have already heard the call. And maybe you’re still standing in your own version of ashes, wondering what comes next.
I was pretty sure that I could help you before. But now I know I can.
My job is to help people who are standing at a crossroads to make a decision. I start with these two questions that matter most.
- Can you — and do you want to — figure out how to step into your purpose, build a business and a business model that works on your own?
- If the answer is no, does what you just read resonate with you?
If something inside you paused and your inner voice said yes — even if it was quiet — then this is your invitation.
Welcome to Turn Your Talent Into a Business
We begin April 22, 2025
This is my bestselling program — and for good reason.
Since I first launched it, more than 25,000 entrepreneurs and business owners have gone through the evolving versions of it. And every time, it gets better, deeper, and more aligned.
This version — born from fire, grief, clarity, and grace — is the most powerful one yet.
Inside, we’ll go far beyond branding and offer creation (though yes, we cover all that too). We’ll build a business that reflects who you really are. One that’s grounded in soul, powered by strategy, and aligned with what matters to you.
You’ll get:
- ✨ Clarity around your unique talent and purpose
- ✨ A clear, step-by-step roadmap to turn it into a business
- ✨ The spiritual alignment and the strategic action steps
- ✨ A community that sees you — and holds you to your highest potential
This isn’t about proving yourself. This is about becoming yourself — fully, boldly, and on purpose.
I’m not here to persuade you. I’m here to invite you — if you’re ready to make a real impact, to live and work with meaning, and to step into your next chapter with clarity, courage, and community.
We start April 22.
Take a look and schedule a conversation with me personally right now.
You’ve waited long enough.
Let’s turn your talent into the business you were born to build.
Let’s grow!
Beate
