A German-Engineered American Success Story

“It’s my mission and passion to mentor women and creative entrepreneurs who relentlessly pursue greatness in their business and personal lives.”

–Beate Chelette

Have you ever taken an aptitude test? Or how about listened to the career ideas that others wanted you to be, or do? …was there ever a time when it became clear and you said “NO!” I’m going my own way?

In Germany, during a (very serious) career counseling session, I took such an aptitude test which asked me six pages of questions. Among them were these three:

1. Are you afraid of heights?
2. Do you enjoy being outside?
3. Do you mind carrying things?

When I said “yes” to all three, my career results came in: “Based on your unique skills and talents an excellent natural career choice for you would be… a roofer!”

A few years later when I worked as a photographer assistant I found myself at great heights, outside carrying equipment and other things: there I was, on top of a glacier in Switzerland… carrying a car (with a helicopter) to a photoshoot!

That’s when I realized that most of us don’t fit the regular mold. We have to find our own way.

Beate Chelette is The Growth Architect and a results-oriented businesswoman with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record in growing, building and scaling women’s businesses. Once $135,000 in debt and a single mother, she successfully sold her business to a global entertainment media company owned by Bill Gates in a multi-million dollar deal.

Through her online courses, one-on-one training programs and live speaking events, she mentors women entrepreneurs with her 5 Star Success Blueprint, developed with the knowledge gleaned from her growing, scaling and selling her own company. Beate has a deep commitment to supporting women.

She is the creator of The Women’s Code, her revolutionary system to help women cope, collaborate and lead in their careers. Her proprietary methods specifically address women’s obstacles and she leads from experience, having survived in business in a highly competitive male-dominated environment.

She is a respected speaker and mentor and is the author of the book “Happy Woman Happy World How to Go From Overwhelmed to Awesome”, a book that corporate trainer and best-selling author Brian Tracy calls “a handbook for every woman who wants health, success and a fulfilling career.”

After multi-million dollar deal, I was asked to join the leadership at Corbis. Overseeing the entire entertainment division gave me a profound appreciation for the unique challenges today’s corporate leaders, and women in leadership positions face.

Offering training to companies seeking growth and evolution will always be a big part of what I do. If you’d like to see how I can support your organization, click here and find out what I do for your organization.

It’s my passion to help creative businesses overcome the mistaken aptitude tests others want to force on you… I want to uncover the unique creative talents you possess and turn them into your winning advantage. Let me share my hard-won secrets and strategies with you to catapult you into the business and life you love! Go here to find out more about how Creative Entrepreneurs can benefit from my programs and course.

Helping individuals and organizations to succeed at all levels is my passion. Whether I’m speaking about leadership for an organization like The Leadership Investment, or for ACG’s Women In Finance, where we discuss why Acting Like A Girl Is Good For Business, my passion is for personal leadership development, accelerating growth and unlocking a business’ potential.

Over a span of 30 years, I’ve had the pleasure to work with elite organizations, names like Elle Magazine, Corbis, Wrangler, Levi’s, Homeboy, BMW, Glidden Paint, Coldwell Banker, and Mercedes Benz.

What I’m most excited about is giving you all the insider information I’ve gathered from the world’s brightest researchers, marketers, awe-inspiring thinkers and brilliant innovators. Here’s a story to illustrate what I mean:

About Creative Entrepreneurship: Dana Hursey was a generalist photographer, with a twist. Cory is a fitness professional with a unique mission and both didn’t know how to talk about their gift. What wasn’t clear to Dana, Cory and to many would-be successful creative entrepreneurs, jumps out, practically screaming, to me!

Call it a unique talent for looking at people just like you, extracting the wonderful ideas that are already inside your head, and bringing you clarity and a vision to create a unified business concept that enables you to thrive. I love YOUR great ideas, I get excited about YOUR creation process.

This passion has allowed me to discover a powerful model, from which I can create an A-Z business model for you, in just one day.

After my focused intensity with Dana Hursey? Now Dana is known as the Authority on Quirky.  Cory’s passion for unrestricted body flow inspired us to create Storey’s Simplicity of Movement System–powerful transformations that entirely changed these creative entrepreneurs–in a single day!

About women leadership and gender equality: It lights me up when thank you notes come in after a training or talk sharing how communication improved, and stress and tension are down. Often women realize that we try to do everything all at once, risking our health, emotional well being, and our sanity.

Have you ever noticed all the self-proclaimed gurus who constantly criticize and condemn, but have very little to offer to fix the situation in actionable, step-by-step tools? No wonder so many would-be successful entrepreneurs struggle today: they need more structured processes, broken down, success formulas, made paper-thin for greater transparency.

A success for me, is you, standing on my shoulders, achieving even more brilliance than I have!

I love to see the underdogs win. Like when someone formerly defined as a housewife learns to negotiate like an Italian from NYC, or plays with the boys like it’s nothing — this is very exciting! And my single moms too, who are fighting like lionesses in a world that has very little support for them.

Remember, I used to be one: single mom, entrepreneur, and immigrant who knew nothing of the world, or America. And yet I fought! Every time I get thank you notes like these:

Thank you note Jammie Beate Chelette

I’m reminded why I didn’t take my millions, and go sit on a beach drinking cocktails with umbrellas somewhere in the sun!

Just remember, what you want in this life, it’s yours to claim. I’ll show you how.

And then there was this one creative photographer who was desperately fighting for survival. He found the courage to throw the photography overboard, burning the boats, to become a master craftsman of handmade camera straps for Leica cameras. Big risk, and today? He’s got a waiting list of two months and is calling me for growth and expansion strategies! I love this stuff…

Because I learned one thing–and not without kicking and screaming–that, at the end, it’s about one thing only…

It’s about the people.

About you.

Let’s do something amazing.

If you’d like to feel more secure with your business plan, or if you need to hatch one… if you’d like clarity on operations, or discovering what makes you so special others can’t resist buying from you, we need to talk. I’ll give you my famous “boot of confidence,” that comes with permission to soar and the ability to talk about your business like an OWNER!

Or, if you’d like to master leading your team, implementing greater gender equality into your business while increasing profits, perhaps it is your time now to connect with me.
