Photography is the ultimate visual business. It should be easy for everyone in our industry to look good. Why is it then, that we see so many mediocre websites, nonsensical email blasts, and poorly retouched images floating in cyberspace? We can only make one first impression. From my experience as a Photography Representative, I know that it is very difficult to separate yourself from the effort, amount of money, and energy it took you to create the image and – it’s actual quality. If that image was expensive to produce, you want to get use out of it – even if it’s not your very best shot. But, a bad image can hurt you more than you think.
