Addition of Award Winning Images mark SuperStock’s Growth in the areas of Science and Technology.
Jacksonville, Florida & Seattle, Washington – July 9, 2012 – SuperStock, an international leader in the licensing of imagery, announced today their acquisition of Science Faction Images, well-known in the industry for providing high-end, provocative science and high technology images to publishers, corporations and advertising agencies worldwide.
The category of science and technology is an underserved niche, as imagery of this kind is often difficult to capture and duplicate and requires access to scientific facilities and state of the art equipment such as electron microscopes and telescopes. The addition of Science Faction is reflective of SuperStock’s understanding of the unique value of this collection and also marks an aggressive move on its part to continue to expand its offering of such specialized content.
