PhotoL.A., the longstanding photographic art exposition, returns to the historic Santa Monica Civic Auditorium for its 22nd edition January 17-21, 2013. Continuing the discourse on photography’s place in the fine arts, photo l.a. provides dealers from around the globe with a platform for the exhibition of vintage masterworks and contemporary photography.

Lucie Foundation is thrilled to participate in the 22nd Annual photo l.a. Fair featuring over 60 galleries, institutions and non-profits from around the world. We’ll be showcasing the work of our scholarship recipients Donna J. Wan (USA), Tommaso Barsali (ITALY), Julie Glassberg (USA), Daria Tuminas (RUSSIA) and Daisuke Ito (JAPAN). In addition, we’ll be exhibiting images from the 2012 participants of SNAPSHOP!, our four-Saturday workshop program for at-risk youth (ages 13 – 18), selections from the recent Lucie Honoree Masters Exhibition that debuted at Robert Berman Gallery, and images from winners of the 2012 International Photography Awards competiton, our sister-effort.
