Reporting on the CEPIC Conference in Dublin

What a whirlwind week that was. First I saw my daughter drive off in a limousine to her Prom last Saturday. This event was followed on Sunday by the AVPA Culver City arts award show at her high school, where she received six awards including best vocal performer (guess who was the proud and screaming mom) and her advanced college certificates for the performing arts. I stayed until I had to go to the airport to catch my flight to Dublin. What do you know, Air France (one of the airlines I use rarely and didn’t expect too much of) was one of the best coach class flights I have had in a long time. There is nothing like a new plane and a customer oriented crew! I made sure I told the ladies that they did a fantastic job. Next I flew from Paris to Dublin to attend and speak at the largest International stock photography conference CEPIC.

Here is a quick video that I recorded about some of the opportunities that presented themselves as a result of networking.

Who was there? The who is who of the stock world. Mr. Microstock Yuri Arcurs, ASMP President Richard Kelly, ASMP Exec. Director Eugene Mopsik, ImageSource’s Christina Vaughn who is also the Co-President of CEPIC along with Klaus Plaumann. Corbis, Getty and another 600 delegates from all over the world.

In this picture you’ll see me and Yuri Arcurs who was the keynote speaker and opened the New Media Conference. I made so many connections it was incredible. Over the course of the next week or so I’ll be posting quite a few follow up items that I recorded that I think will be very valuable for readers of this PhotoBizCoach Blog. These videos include some special offers for my readers, so make sure you come back and check the blog often.
